President Biya of Cameroon: Must Go Home. Biya, Bad Roads, Kill.

The Issue

President Paul Biya,

I am Sylvie Qwasinwi Ngassa Bello and was born in Douala, Cameroon.
My parents who were both transportation professionals, met in the forest areas of the Cameroon, not far from Yaounde.
If Cameroon is known as Africa in Miniature, I consider myself Cameroon in Miniature.

Just yesterday, I led the opening presentation on 'Hacking the Future of Cameroon's Medical Transportation' at the United States Congress during the Quality Health Africa Summit.

Today, Friday, October 21st 2016, woke up to Cameroon's transportation tearing at it's seams. In the last 24 Hours family, friends, domestic media and international media have reported that the only major road linking Douala- Yaounde collapsed. Then the only rail lines connecting Douala and Yaounde, was shut down due to train derailment.

Mr. President, at this time of transportation crisis,  the country cutoff with the two largest cities in the country not accessible, it is irresponsible that you are not home to comfort the family, to assess the sites, to provide leadership.

Come to find out, Mr. President, you have been away from Cameroon since you departed the country for the UN Summit in September 2016. The domestic and international press seem to have you pegged in Switzerland or other European countries.

Families are mourning,  we cannot bring their loved ones back...but can you Mr President #BiyaBrackGodRoads?

Mr. President, please return to Cameroon, and please President #BiyaBringBackGoodRoads.

Oh Cameroon, Thy Worth, No Tongue Can Tell.
