African governments will resist selling trophy hunting licenses because they are sold at approximately $50,000 each.  These licenses give rich hunters the right to shoot an endangered animal.  Five hundred of these license are sold annually.  If the hunters cannot bring the heads of these beautiful dead animals into the U.S. to hang on a wall somewhere, they may be reluctant to pay this price.  Making it illegal to import trophy heads of endangered animals into the U.S. will help the rapid decimation of endangered animals.  Between the rampant poaching and the trophy hunting licenses, these beautiful animals don´t have much of a chance to survive.  Heads of endangered animals belong on animals, not on walls.  These animals belong to this earth, not to greedy, selfish individuals.
