President Barack Obama, STOP THE DEPORTATIONS - #DAFA Now!

President Barack Obama, STOP THE DEPORTATIONS - #DAFA Now!
The Issue
PRESIDENT OBAMA: STOP THE DEPORTATIONS! ISSUE DEFERRED ACTION FOR ALL!
The holidays have been and are being celebrated by many all over the country. But what about the nearly 2 million immigrants who have been deported since the start of President Obama's administration? What about their families that have been forcibly ripped apart?
As if this statistic is not bad enough, John Boehner, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has recently stated that the House has, "No intention of ever going to conference on the Senate bill" for immigration reform, meaning that Congress will stall, yet again, on the question of immigration reform. However, despite the low chances of Congress passing comprehensive immigration reform next year, immigrants' rights activists have not stopped demanding an end to deportations and legalization for all.
In fact, due to the recent passage of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA, President Obama has demonstrated his ability to grant temporary stay to deportations with his executive powers, bypassing Congress in a response to civil disobediences held by immigrant youth all across the United States. In light of this, Legalization For All and all our affiliates have begun to petition President Obama to extend deferred action to all 11 million undocumented immigrants, and not just those who came before the age of 16.
We will not rest until we are certain that not one more undocumented family will be ripped apart by the negligence of our legislators.
Stop the deportations! Sign the petition and tell Obama to give Deferred Action for All! #DAFA NOW!
