Dear President and First Lady Biden, 

We so appreciate your committment to being the "administration of science", but were disappointed  to see that Commander and Major wear prong collars. Using pain,force and fear to "train" our companion pets is no longer recommended by the scientific community.

We understand that the general public is confused about dog training. This is because of television shows in our popular culture which promote a completely debunked "pack theory" ... this kind of training, using force and dominance over dogs, is actually associated with increased fear and aggression in our dogs (and cats). Also, the dog training industry is unregulated in the United States, so many uninformed people are still using outdated, harmful methods.  France just banned shock, prong and choke collars, as have many other EU countries. 

The science is conclusive, and we ask that you remove the prong collars on Champ and Major, embrace science and seek guidance from a qualifed force-free professional for your dogs.  In fact, France just banned the use of shock, choke and prong collars - so its time we caught up! Macron would not be happy to visit the White House and be met by Champ in a prong collar!
