Exciting news! Resolution to keep Trumper Park for tennis only was passed by Woollahra Council .

Dear Supporter

I am very excited to let you know that at the Woollahra Council meeting this evening the resolution proposed by Councillors Robertson, Andruska and Witt was passed. 

This means that the Tender to be issued for the lease of Trumper Park Tennis Centre will require that the courts be kept for the exclusive use of tennis only.

Thank you to you all - the number of petition signers (850) was mentioned by a number of Councillors during the meeting as a reason to reverse the earlier Council decision to permit multi-sports use at Trumper Park. 

This outcome would not have been achieved without your support and special thanks to those of you who sent in emails to the Council before the meeting supporting the resolution.

When the dust has settled I will post another update with more information about the vote at the Council meeting , and what to expect next in the tender process for Trumper Park.
