Council meeting on 28 October

At the meeting Councillors Robertson, Andruska and Witt spoke in favour of the resolution they proposed that the tender for Trumper Park provides for the use of tennis only. 

Councillors Price and Regan spoke against the resolution.

After debate, the resolution was passed by 12 votes to 3.

Tender Process

Woollahra Council will now issue a public invitation to tender for the lease of the Trumper Park tennis centre. I understand that the Council will offer a seven year lease , with a seven year option to renew , to the  successful tenderer selected by the Council. .

I hope that the current lessee, who has run the tennis centre very successfully for 9 years will become the successful tenderer and be granted the new lease.
