Woollahra Council election results update

Dear Supporter

The NSW Electoral Commission has now declared the results for the Woollahra Council elections.

There are 9 Liberal Councillors, 5 Residents First Woollahra Independents Councillors and 1 Green Councillor. 6 of them are new Councillors. 

The referendum to reduce the number of Councillors from 15 to 9 was narrowly defeated. 

We will now focus on bringing our campaign to preserve Trumper Park for tennis only to the attention of the new Councillors we have not contacted before.

Once I find out when the first meeting of the new Council will be held and can confirm that the Agenda includes consideration of Trumper Park tennis centre I will post another update.

Thank you again for your support- there are now nearly 800 signatures on the petition which is fantastic.
