Dear supporters,

We have obtained nearly 500 signatures overnight. That is an impressive show of support, but we are not done yet. 

I have additional information and an additional ask of you.

The Board of Education will be hearing proposals from MCPS today about the program changes. If you are watching the Board of Education meeting, it is on the agenda around 5:30PM today. There will be a period of months for public and community comment and the final vote will happen in December. 

For now, I need you to keep spreading this petition and keep growing the number of signatures. Anyone in Montgomery County who supports our cause can and should sign. The more we can show the Board of Education that the community supports us, the stronger our case is. Share with parents, community members, members of other Magnet programs, and alumni.

You can also support us by writing to the key decision makers. The key decision makers are listed on this petition. Multiple emails, postcards, phone calls will all make our case.
