In recent years, under the rulership of Bin Salman, Saudi Arabia has undergone cultural shifts. While nations and their leaders have the right to shape their policies and adopt cultural changes, these shifts in Saudi Arabia starkly contradict core Islamic values. This contradiction is further exacerbated by the unjust treatment of Islamic scholars, who face imprisonment for upholding and defending the principles of the faith.

The Saudi flag, bearing the sacred Ash-Shahadatan—the declaration of faith that proclaims "There is no deity but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger"-stands at the heart of this contradiction. This declaration is not merely a national emblem; it is the foundation of Islam, a universal creed that transcends borders and cultures.

The use of the Ash-Shahadatan on the Saudi flag, while policies and practices increasingly stray from Islamic values, is a blatant affront to the sanctity of the faith. It reduces the Shahada to a mere political symbol, detached from the profound spiritual truth it represents.

Islam belongs to the entire Ummah and not to any single nation, even if its sacred sites reside within their borders. While we, as Muslims, cannot dictate how Saudi Arabia governs its internal affairs, we have the collective right and responsibility to defend the dignity of Islam.

Therefore, we demand that the Saudi government remove the Ash-Shahadatan from their flag. It has become undeniable that the country’s direction no longer aligns with the values of Islam. The sacred Shahada must be preserved in its purest form, untainted by actions or policies that contradict the faith it represents.

تشهد السعودية في السنوات الأخيرة، تحت قيادة بن سلمان، تحولات ثقافية عميقة. وبينما يحق للدول وقادتها تشكيل سياساتها واعتماد التغيرات الثقافية، فإن هذه التحولات في السعودية تتعارض بشكل صارخ مع القيم الأساسية للإسلام. ويزداد هذا التناقض وضوحًا مع اضطهاد العلماء المسلمين وسجنهم لمجرد دفاعهم عن مبادئ الدين.

العلم السعودي، الذي يحمل الشهادتين العظيمتين "لا إله إلا الله، محمد رسول الله"، يقف في قلب هذا التناقض. إن هذتين الشهادتين ليستا مجرد رمز وطني؛ بل هما أساس الإسلام وعقيدة عالمية تتجاوز الحدود الدولية والثقافات.

استخدام الشهادتين على العلم السعودي، بينما تتباعد سياسات وممارسات الدولة عن القيم الإسلامية، يشكل إهانة صارخة لقدسية الدين. هذا الاستخدام يحول الشهادتين إلى مجرد رمز سياسي، منفصل عن الحقيقة الروحية العميقة التي تمثلها.

الإسلام دين للأمة الإسلامية جمعاء، وليس ملكًا لدولة واحدة، ولو كانت هذه الدول تحتضن أقدس مواقع الدين. وبينما لا يمكننا، كمسلمين، أن نتداخل في الشؤون الداخلية السعودية، فإن لدينا الحق والمسؤولية الجماعية للدفاع عن كرامة الإسلام.

لذلك، فإننا نطالب الحكومة السعودية بإزالة الشهادتين من علمها. لقد أصبح من الواضح أن توجه الدولة لم يعد متماشيًا مع قيم الإسلام. يجب الحفاظ على قدسية الشهادة في أنقى صورها، بعيدة عن أفعال أو سياسات تتناقض مع الدين الذي ترمز إليه.
