Thank you all for your ongoing support. Following our recent meeting with the Parks and Recreation committee, decisions are still underway regarding the trail's future. Efforts are being made to ensure the trail can coexist with the archery range and potentially a future disc golf course. If anyone has questions, concerns, or suggestions, please reach out. Personally, I'm struggling to visualize how these changes will unfold and remain concerned about our safety and access to the trail, as well as trail preservation. Unfortunately, the trail will be closed this Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm due to an archery tournament. Currently, both the archery range and potential disc golf course overlap with the trail, prompting worries about our continued access. We hope decision-makers will reconsider these recreational placements to preserve our ability to freely enjoy the trail. Our goal is simply to ride and relish the trail without unnecessary concerns, honoring the hard work of numerous volunteers who maintain it.
