Help The Masons Arms fight an unfair noise abatement notice!

Thank you SO much everyone for the amazing response to the petition!

There is more we can do to hopefully help quash the noise abatement notice, threatening to put brakes on music in the pub. 

We feel The Masons Arms have always been responsible neighbours, this notice feels excessive and could seriously impact the future of the pub.  

As well as signing the petition, we can also write to Wakefield Council expressing our love for The Masons and highlighting its value to the community.  

Here's what to do next:   

• Write a letter and address it to

WF1 2EB and be sure to mention the reference number of the noise abatement notice, Ref 737993 

Briefly explain why The Mason's Arms is important to you and the community, and why you believe the notice is unreasonable. 

• Send an email: Follow the same format as the letter and send your email to ep@wakefield.gov.uk again quoting the reference 737993  

• ️ Share this post: Spread the word and rally support! It's especially important that us neighbours in close proximity who support the pub give our view so the council can hopefully take a more rational approach.
