You might be reading this on April Fools' Day, but this is no joke! It's just a quick note to remind you about two things happening on April 2.
Election for Park Hill School Board on April 2 - Vote Julie
In 2017 and 2018, thousands of local citizens expressed concern about the Park Hill School District's development in KC's Line Creek Forest, and urged the district to make a conservation plan for part of the acreage and minimize destruction of the old and historic forest.
Despite the overwhelming response from the community, the school board proceeded with the original plan, which included an expensive and environmentally-damaging parkway and roundabout that bisected the forest, two large schools and designating their remaining forest acreage "for future development or sale."
If you are ready for a change on the Park Hill School Board, make your voice heard tomorrow by voting for Julie Stutterheim, who will prioritize our student success, work for better partnership with our community and focus on financial & environmental stewardship (for more information, visit JulieforParkHill.com).
