Pollution costs could be factored into build of new roads, schools Pollution costs would be factored into the case for building a new road, school or hospital in a push to meet the Victorian government’s ambitious climate targets.

It is alarming that we are becoming so complacent about our environment and what land is now being built on without really knowing the health risks.

Here in City of Greater Dandenong we have two perfectly good school sized blocks of land (Southvale and Maralinga ) that are acting as the lungs for the area and  now have significant (maybe even mature heritage) trees  growing on them and we know the history of the land.... it needs to be kept for educational purposes for our exploding population after all education is the key to an individual's success.
