What saddens me and should we just accept it as fait accompli?

To be told by some one working around the edges of the education system in this local area that "WE HAVE BEEN TOLD WHAT WILL HAPPEN if student capacity out grows school space" is IMO abhorrent. There has been research that openly shows open, green spaces is important to good mental health especially in our students.
So why do we accept it lying down that "THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN" can not be changed for a better outcome.
Our children largely spend 13 formative years from Foundation -Yr12 and experts think it is OK to squeeze them into 2 storey educational facilities -OUTRAGEOUS! A traditional school setting like we are used to might be the only open space they see daily Monday - Friday.
I believe these experts need to try harder and be more realistic about our children's futures.
