Removing our cherished disc golf course in favor of more soccer fields not only strips away this unique, low-impact recreational option, but risks diminishing the vibrant sense of community that has blossomed here. Socastee's disc golf course generates consistent foot traffic, contributing to the local economy by attracting year-round visitors. It's a vital economic asset and a source of local pride, crafted by countless hours of care and dedication by local volunteers.
