As a parent, I am deeply concerned about the potential loss of our local Fond Du Lac BMX track. This isn't just a recreational area; it's a place families can get together and connect, make new friends and most of all Have some much needed FUN!!!! Our Families, friends, and our kids can spend countless hours racing and learning the value of sportsmanship and persistence. We all will cherish this track, and its presence is personal and significant to our community. BMX racing has been contributing positively to the physical and mental health of children, teenagers, and adults across the globe. The American Academy of Pediatrics in their 2019 report emphasized the numerous physical, psychological, and social benefits that such activities provide to children. Removing such a valued facility will not only impact our kids negatively but also cause a hindrance to these benefits. We urge our local administration to reconsider their decision and work towards preserving our BMX race track. Sign this petition today to help us protect our valuable community asset.
