🌳 PETITION UPDATE: BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

Mandarin Road is not just a road.

It’s part of who we are.

The arching oak canopy, the shade, the quiet beauty—these are things you cannot rebuild once they’re gone.

And now, they are at risk.

More than 3,300  of us have already spoken.

Neighbors. Families. People who live here and love this place.

But the project is still moving forward.

👉 That means we must do more.

💔 WHAT’S AT STAKE

At just the 30% design stage, the plan already shows:

Trees marked for removal
Wetlands that will be impacted
Encroachment into property areas, with potential eminent domain?

JTA has even acknowledged there are “vulnerable areas”—

yet safer or less damaging alternatives are not being considered due to budget constraints.

Let that sink in.

👉 The most sensitive parts of Mandarin Road may be sacrificed simply because it’s cheaper.

✉️ THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN

Decisions like this can still be changed—but only if they hear from us.

📧 Email the JTA Board today:

In the subject title of email to board liaison please add to “ Distribute to all board members and include in Board  correspondence “

🗣️ WHAT TO SAY (from the heart)

You don’t need perfect words. Just say:

You oppose the  2.3 mile Mandarin road project
You want to protect the trees and character of Mandarin
You are concerned about wetlands, property impact, and lack of full public input

🔥 WHY THIS MATTERS

Once these trees are cut down…

they are gone for generations.

Once this road is changed…

it will never be the same.

🙏 PLEASE TAKE 2 MINUTES

Send the email.

Ask your neighbors to do the same.

This is our moment to protect Mandarin Road—before it’s too late.
