Here was my records request to JSO Dear Records Custodian, Pursuant to Florida Statute Chapter 119, I respectfully request access to the following public records: 1. All traffic crash reports, citations, and incident summaries involving motor vehicle accidents along Mandarin Road, from San Jose Boulevard (State Road 13) to Flynn Road, for the period January 1, 2010, to present. 2. Any reports, studies, or summaries of pedestrian or bicyclist injuries or fatalities on Mandarin Road during the same period. 3. Any available summary data showing the number and nature of crashes, including: • Fatalities • Pedestrian or bicyclist involvement • Property damage only • Injuries requiring medical response 4. Any crash data analysis or statistical reports specific to Mandarin Road that may have been compiled by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office or Duval County Traffic Engineering. If the records are available in electronic format, I request they be provided in that form. If there are any fees associated with this request, please provide a cost estimate before fulfilling the request. Please confirm receipt of this request and advise if further clarification is needed. So JSO says no accidents, fatalities any records to speak of. So has was safety used as a basis for JTA's grant app to the FTA( federal transit administration)
