Happy Spring everyone!
I will send a longer email next week, but wanted to share this amazing news with you all before we head into the long weekend.
WE DID IT!!!
I heard from Parks yesterday that they are no longer pursuing pickleball in Lincoln Park, and the fencing will be removed by the end of the week.
It's been a long 10 months and I am so happy to be closing the book on this one. It's spring and the park is abundant with wildlife -particularly baby birds, and migrating birds and lush plant life.
I am so grateful the park will continue to be a place of respite and wonder for all.
Please take a stroll through and celebrate this victory. Take a breath, take a listen....And say 'hi' to the three new baby owls that are exploring the redwood groves!!
