Happy Sunday, Everyone!
We have some good news to share with all of you! As of yesterday, we have 6 of the 7 required signatures from people within 200 feet of the development for the zoning protest. We feel confident that we'll get the 7th plus several more. A member of our community will be hand delivering those to the city tomorrow. This will require a vote of 6-1 (better than a supermajority) to pass.
I am attaching the latest email that our Opposition Team has put forward to the city council. Based on Zoning Change Factors, we are pointing out that they have used insufficient information and misrepresented facts throughout the proposal for the development. We want them to realize that we are doing our homework rather than just "complaining".

I am also attaching the agenda for the city council meeting. I thought you might appreciate being able to see that voting on this proposal is the heart of this meeting.
PLEASE make plans to be there! When we show our support in numbers, it sends a strong message to the council. You do not have to speak! Your presence alone sends a powerful message.

I spent some time distributing flyers in my neighborhood this morning. I was surprised at the number of people who still aren't aware of what is happening. Don't assume your neighbors know. Spread the word!
