Good morning, everyone! I hope you had a great July 4th and have plans for a weekend full of fun! We are at 662 signatures this morning. I want to thank everyone for getting the word out and continuing to spread information.
We have NEW INFORMATION! Due to the diligent work of one of our opposition team members, we have found an ADDITIONAL protest form for the zoning change that is available to us as a tool, BUT it can only be used by the people who will live within 200 feet of the new development.
We have calculated that there are approximately 35 homeowners that are within this boundary. ARE YOU ON THIS LIST? Please check the attached file to see if you are.
We only need 20% of the 35 (or just 7 homeowners) to fill out this form and send it to the city council before the meeting on Tuesday, along with a short letter explaining the reason for the protest. This would force the city council to have SIX yes VOTES, which is more than the supermajority of 5.
Please print the protest form and sign it if this applies to you. The city council MUST have this on Monday, July 8 OR on Tuesday, July 9 BEFORE the meeting begins. This dramatically increases our chances of getting this development revised or stopped. Wouldn't that be great?
