We've got several important updates to share:

We have determined that four of the seven supervisors may support our fight so we have reached out to each of them to discuss our issues. We have had fruitful conversations with each of them.

They support us for several reasons, the development seems ill placed when a prospective school will be immediately down the road in the future, the location based on the demographics of the development is also inconvenient, the current road infrastructure cannot support the additional 141 houses.

Our supervisor, Meg has agreed to an in-person meeting mid July to hear our concerns and updated reasons for opposition.

Based on this, we feel that the application will not go before the board of supervisors for a vote until August time frame.

Please keep spreading the word, contact your Stafford County supervisor and let them know you do not support placing Urban zoned housing in agriculturally zoned areas. This may save your neighborhood from an urban development next door in the near future!
