We are reaching out to you today with an urgent call to action - Fill out the online 2025 Wicomico County Land Preservation, Parks & Rec Plan Survey (linked below) and mention "Connelly Mill Park" in your write-in responses! You have already shown incredible support for protecting Connelly Mill Park by signing this petition, and right now, we have our absolute best chance to ensure the original plan for the park comes to fruition. Wicomico County is currently conducting its five-year survey for the Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP), and it closes permanently on February 28th, 2026. Every single survey matters. This document carries more weight than any other county document, including the Capital Improvement Plan. This is our chance to cement Connelly Mill Park into the county's permanent plans, but we need your voice to do it.

• Question 12: Asks if you favor state partnership parks. Please answer YES! (Maryland DNR Secretary Josh Kurtz recently visited Connelly Mill to consider it for exactly this type of partnership).
• Question 13: Asks where you would like to see these parks. This is our chance to explicitly write in "Connelly Mill Park"!

There are also several other write-in sections throughout the survey. Any positive feedback or personal reasons you can share for protecting Connelly Mill Park will massively impact the protection of this precious space.
