Allen Morris Park Fenced Off; Tomorrow 11:30 Zoom meet w/Commissioner Vicki Lopez Office

It’s devastating to see, but Allen Morris Park is now fenced off from the public. A black, opaque fence completely circles the park, cutting off the community from one of the last small patches of pure tree canopy in Brickell. It appears it was fenced off ahead of/during the weekend, earlier than communicated by Commissioner Vicki Lopez at last week’s Brickell Homeowners Association update breakfast, raising the question of whether this timeline was accelerated due to a fear of protest and organizing in the park over the weekend.
