On July 4, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, the life of Nolan Xavier Wells was tragically cut short. Nolan was a vibrant young man remembered for his kindness, his love for his family and friends, and the meaningful presence he brought to the lives of those around him. His death has left an immeasurable void, and with that grief comes an urgent need for answers, transparency, and accountability.
The investigation into Nolan's death has raised questions about what happened and why those questions remain unanswered. As a community, we believe that every death deserves a thorough investigation and that the legal process should be allowed to examine the evidence fully and fairly.
We are calling for Nolan Wells' case to be presented to the appropriate grand jury.
This petition is not a demand for a predetermined outcome. We are not asking the public to decide guilt or innocence. We are asking that the available evidence be thoroughly investigated, preserved, reviewed, and presented through the appropriate legal process so that the grand jury can consider the case based on the evidence before it.

Present the case and complete evidentiary findings to the appropriate grand jury when the investigation is sufficiently complete.
Provide as much transparency about the status of the investigation as the law permits.
We recognize that law enforcement, prosecutors, and the courts must follow established procedures and that grand-jury proceedings are confidential. Our request is simply that the process be thorough, fair, evidence-based, and timely.
