A Towson University student wants to start a White Student Union, exclusive to white students.

This is not the first time that a campus hate group has been proposed at Towson. 

The first attempt, “Youth for Western Civilization,” raised concerns after white supremacist messages began popping up around campus. This group disbanded but the idea is back again!

Historically, minority students were excluded from Greek life and other campus organizations. The creation of Black student unions were a breakthrough in the civil rights movement and an opportunity to educate all races on racial equality and historical injustices.

The mere idea of a group like this being introduced on a college campus is shameful and undermines the struggles that minority groups have faced in America.

Send a letter to Towson University’s President, Dr. Maravene Loeschke and tell her to publicly denounce the creation or any future creation of a hate group on campus!
