C293361...The Headline statement was an ultimatum given to the Poster Child for Mass Incarceration after spending his first 18 months in a Federal Penitentiary. Since he had been there a year and a half  and hadn't stabbed anyone yet, the inmate boss gave him a choice.  Fortunately there was a third choice, the one he took, which was to voluntarily put himself in Solitary confinement "Administrative Detention". Solitary is not actually solitary in the Federal system... because of Lock-up Quotas imposed by the Wall St. traded corporations who service the jails and prisons; the one man solitary cells are shared by two. Even if it was voluntary, the inmate looses all privileges. Privileges that should be human rights; phone or email to family, visits, a radio, canteen etc. Bureau Of Prison policy is no more than 90 days in Solitary as they are locked in a small space 23 hours of the day; my son was there for SIX MONTHS then transferred to another violent horrible hell  PLEASE DON'T LET HIS CHILDREN GO THROUGH THEIR TEENS WITHOUT A DAD.
