No Decision as yet / The Community activating areas in front of Seawall 26th January 2022

We still await an ERD (Environment Resources and Development) Court decision as to whether or not residents can join in the Appeal by the developer and have their say.  

In the meantime, this is the area in front of Seawall which is often utilised for bbq's and picnics by the Community and is particularly busy on the weekend or on a public holiday.

THE DEVELOPER HAS NOT INCORPORATED ANY ACTIVATION WITH THE PUBLIC AREAS IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE ONE ACRE SITE (IN THEIR PROPOSED PLANS) - NONE WHATSOEVER ! 

Imagine if Seawall was a 13 storey building on 1 whole acre - would people still feel encouraged to enjoy the pleasant and open surroundings? We do not think they would, we believe it would become a windy, overshadowed area not suitable for families to enjoy this Holdfast Bay Council owned public area. 

Please encourage friends who may not have signed our petition to do so, we keep vigil and are ready to come out fighting when needed.
