PREMIER ANNOUNCES NO MASS GRANTS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENT APPLICATIONS! Thank you everyone who signed and circulated the petition, even those government employees who were allegedly intimidated and warned not to sign the petition. The Premier’s press release is a clear victory for all those who stood up for Caymanian youth and Caymanian’s absolute right to employment which the PR applicants and their dependants want but do not have and cannot trump. However, it has been decided by those Caymanians who have a legal employment challenge against government’s Human Rights violations against them to continue to pursue litigation so that this national security issue that affects thousands of unemployed Caymanians will once and for all set the court precedent for the Cayman Islands Government to protect our Caymanian rights FIRST before non-Caymanians. This action by the Premier is a step in the right direction. Thank you, Honourable Premier.
