Environment Minister Crummel says the oil slick observable from the air by a Coast Guard aircraft is not recoverable. This notion does not support his inaction. Has the Minister considered that it may be "containable" while he carries out his month long study. Get some booms down there Minister Crummell - it won't break the bank but it can contain the slick and give citizens a degree of comfort that government will respond.
