The Vampire Academy fans want the rest of Richelle Mead's series to be followed through with. She has written an outstanding book series where readers can lose themselves in a unique world of good and bad vampires. She creates a strong female lead in Rose Hathaway which young women can learn from. This isn't just another teen vampire movie. This is about Rose's journey to become a dhampir guardian to the person she cares about most while also learning tough life lessons of love, honor and duty.

The original petitions generated loyal support from dedicated fans of the series. In this economic climate, it's not fair for the loyal fans to have to come up with 1.5 million dollars to green-light this project. I believe if the movie was given a better debut such as a better trailer portraying more substance than just a surface teenie bopper movie plus more advertising, it would've drawn more fans and made more at the box office. My idea is to re-release VA movie with better trailers and more advertising. It's obvious the cast and fans want Frostbite made. Richelle Mead deserves that the Vampire Academy series continue on screen as do the fans. Other series have been made with creative trailers and avid advertising: Twilight, Hunger Games & even Harry Potter. Give Frostbite the chance it deserves. Let the fans continue following Rose's journey.
