We have a small positive development this week . The work on the balance 3 sewer pit is almost complete . The sewer pit opposite Mahindra Gate No 2 is filled and the road is open for traffic . The other two pits , opposite gate no 1 and and adjacent to whispering palms main gate is filled up and looks set to be done next week . Hopefully this will ease the traffic a bit . I also met Mrs Bhosale , Sr Inspector , Kandivali East and requested her to stop the rick drivers taking U turn at Hanuman Nagar . She sounded helpless !! She mentioned that the BMC should have dividers . Looks like lack of ownership and buck passing . On a separate note , she mentioned the traffic police has approved the free U turn beneath the Thakur flyover and is awaiting the work to be commenced by "planning dept " . This and the rickshaw issue I plan to follow up with our Corporator and MLA and would seek their support as the government department don't seem to talk to each other . . We also await the holistic plan promised by Mr.Bhatkalkar as that may end our woes forever . Also, had the opportunity to meet Ward officer Sahebrao Gaikwad , ward officer for R south ward on Friday with many representatives from our township regarding expediting the road work before monsoon . In the meeting , met active residents who are spending a lot of their time to address many issues in the township . Many thanks to them . Good to know that we have an active ALM in the township.
