Residents, Happy to share that the Sewer Microtunnel opposite Mahindra yellow gate has been covered and open for traffic !! It is a small win and eases one problem spot . Thanks to Dr. Ajanta Yadav for talking it up with DCP - Traffic ( West) and seeing it through . I also understand from her that the proposed sewage work has been stalled from oct 2014 due to some rocky structure which was discovered and the sewage pipes could not be laid . Need to check on the other there microtunnel spots also. Not sure what happens to the sewage project though ? While M & M trucks are supposed to stop plying during peak hours, many of you messaged me that trucks are still using yellow gate at times . The same issue has been raised to M & M authorities today itself . While , we have made some progress on taking up the issues , the auto problem at Hanuman Mandir , tempo & taxi parking , commercial vehicles using Akurli Road during peak hours need to be addressed . Also , we need to get commitment on dates for road from Lokhandwala township to Thakur village and proposed flyover from Mahindra Yellow gate to Green gate .
