Recently, PowerFX (a company known for their contributions to the Vocaloid line of speech synthesizers) has unveiled their new and "improved" design for Ruby, the mascot of a Vocaloid voicebank originally intended to be Latina (like her voice provider) but whitewashed in the new official design. Not only has PowerFX just shown that it doesn't want a voicebank with an official mascot that's anything other than white (which is bad enough on its own), it's also shown serious disrespect for the artists who drew the original Latina design and were promised complete control over Ruby's design. This petition is intended to serve as a wakeup call for PowerFX, to show that the Vocaloid fandom will not take this lying down. PowerFX, would it hurt you to change the skintone of the character back to its original brown?
