Loughborough university is known globally as a well respected sports university that encourages constant training and self development. Much of this training for any sport takes place in the gym where muscular endurance can be pushed to its limits which is a vital part of improving performance.

However with every student having such varying schedules many near by gyms such as pure gym are open 247 365. The problem that this petition brings to light is that powerbase, arguably the most elite gym in loughborough, closes at 10 which limits training for so many individuals. With some simple investments the gym could be automated to allow constant access pleasing everybody. It would also benefit the gym in the long term as it would attract many customers from pure gym and other 247 gyms.

Every person who goes to pure gym are dedicated to self improvement and this simple change would allow for a better student experience overall.
