To make the sex offenders list in South Africa public. We as the public have a right to kn
The Issue
As a previously sexually harassed female in South Africa, it is imperative that the public be aware of the monsters that lurk among us. This is important because firstly the gender based violence in South Africa is rife and we are losing lives on a daily basis. Secondly because before you trust a molester and/or rapist with your children or other loved ones you have a right to know who they really are and what they are capable of. The government of South Africa is aware of the atrocities that are occurring but we have not seen any serious measures taken to ensure that this is dealt with. Albeit we understand that we are facing the pandemic and there is pandemonium surrounding that as well, some people aren't safe at home, they are being bruised and used and we cannot ignore the surge in cases since the beginning of the lockdown in March. We as South African's are anxious, women fear for their lives daily, families fear for their daughter's. A stand must be taken! Wathinta abafazi wathinta imbokodo!
