Stop The Chop! are raising funds to support a judicial review of planning granted to Portsmouth Water. Portsmouth Water will develop the Havant Thicket Reservoir, in turn destroying 12.5 hectares of ancient woodland and biodiversity.
We are campaigning to stop the loss of this ancient woodland and biodiversity. We need your support.
Our estimated total costs are £55,000
First Step: Give our legal team the go ahead to proceed with an initial review of the case prospects, this will cost £3,000.
Second Step: If the case has strong legal prospects we will proceed with a Judicial Review process, this will cost around £52,000
Please give as much as you are can, if we all give a little we can help a lot. If you would like to help contribute to the legal fees, or to find out more, please visit

Every donation, large or small really helps and are gratefully received. Donations will not be taken, unless the initial target is met.
Please share this far and wide to any people who may be interested to support and contribute.
Thank you for all your support so far.
