Stop the LibDem implementation of parking zones across Baffins and Southsea.

The LibDems have decided to implement parking zones across areas they represent for political gain, while throwing neighbouring residents under the bus, by way of parking displacement from these proposed zones.
Portsmouth News recently reported on the sham of a meeting, being led by LibDem Traffic and Transport boss, Cllr Lynne Stagg, who happens to live in one of these zones.
In Southsea, the MB and MC zones previously caused misery and were rushed through by the LibDems against officer advice. In 2014, Conservatives abolished these two zones at the request of residents.
A new zone has been proposed by the Libdems called 'HC' in Baffins, from Tokio road down to the Copnor bridge. This will cause displacements into the Copnor ward side of thre Copnor road and cause more parking misery in an area that already has a large parking pressure.
To add salt into the wound, this is being pushed through on the back of a 'LibDem' political survey which, frankly they could of made up the results.
We call upon Portsmouth City Council to stop the political implementation of these piece by piece parking zones immeadiately and to follow proper process and to carry out a full consultation with residents across the city.
