Hello everyone! Quick update. More and more media continues to spread across the globe for a statue of Missy Elliott in Portsmouth. BBC World News Radio last night was even kind enough to reach out to me for an interview so we can #MakeEnglandSupaFlyToo Our petition was only a week old as of yesterday and passed the 30,000 signature mark in just those seven days alone! I have really put in a lot of effort the past two days in contacting artists both local to this area and across the globe about input for getting a proposal on the table to City Council. Many of these artists have experience sculpting living pop culture icons so their expertise will be particularly relevant to this statue of Missy.
