Southern Ohio has gained national attention for its missing and unsolved murder cases. With recent arrests and raids surrounding the issue of human trafficking in Southern Ohio, now is the time to make a commitment to the families of our missing and murdered, a commitment to bring these cases justices. Families that have fought for decades to get answers have put together a list of demands. It is time Scioto County take a stand and do its part to bring peace to these families. They are calling on you to: 

1. Develop special task forces for Portsmouth and Scioto County, dedicated solely for investigating the cases of our missing or murdered.

2. The special task force to be made up of detectives and private investigators from outside of our area.

3. All case files and evidence turned over to the task force.

4. Funding for any and all equipment needed to find and /recover our missing .

5. Open Communication from the task force to the families of the missing/ murdered about there loved ones cases.

6. A special search and rescue team dedicated for searching all locations given as tips in these cases.

7. Corrupt officials prosecuted including Mike Mearan and independent investigation of Portsmouth Police Department and Scioto County Sheriff's Department.

8. Reopening of the Tina Holsinger case.

9. Work with a citizen review board that includes families of our missing and murdered to make advancements and provide updates on cases at least quarterly.

10. Release Megan Lancaster's phone records to her family.

11. Turn Megan Lancaster's case over to BCI.
