Ratepayers, how do you like the trajectory of this graph?

Over 2000% increase in 8 years!

Imagine how this will impact YOUR rates and the rates of the local business that are already suffering terribly. The worst part, it's extravagant and unnecessary.

The PWB is using fear tactics to tell you that this is the only viable solution, and you must pony up. But it's not! It does however provide a big trophy plant, paying out big staff salaries and mega contracts while burdening the ratepayers for decades to come.

Don't let them tell you it's a jobs program! Any project can/will be a jobs program, and we know that filtration will need to happen. The question is - do we need to spend a Billion dollars to do the job? NO! (See our website for more details on alternatives and why.

Now is the time to push the new city council to reconsider its decision to build a Billion dollar filtration plant.  Tell them to be fiscally responsible and protect the ratepayers of Portland.
