GAS-POWERED LEAF BLOWERS ARE A HAZARD TO THE PUBLIC - Especially in the time of Covid - a virus that affects the lungs.  Please stop the use of these immediately for public health reasons - NOW! 

EXTREME NOISE  - High-decibel, low-frequency noise contributes to hearing loss, hypertension, and productivity loss.

HEALTH RISK - High levels of toxic emissions and fine particulate dust increase risks of cancer, lung disease, respiratory illnesses, and dementia.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD - Gas blowers produce toxic waste, fuel spills, and high smog-forming emissions and greenhouse gasses.

Portland City Council - it's up to you to protect the City from this harm. Please act quickly. Thank you.
