I am an avid player of Roblox and owner of a Nintendo Switch, yet sadly, these two aspects of my enjoyment don't meet at any point. The lack of Roblox on the Nintendo Switch truly saddens me and undoubtedly many others who enjoy both platforms.
Roblox, with its 200 million active users (source: TechCrunch, 2020), allows users all across different platforms to immerse themselves in a universe of games created by an international community. However, it is not available on Nintendo Switch, even though the Switch has a staggering 84 million units sold worldwide as of 2021 (source: Nintendo's Financial Report, 2021). It's a missed junction between two vibrant communities of game enthusiasts.
We truly believe that porting Roblox to the Nintendo Switch would not only increase the accessibility and diversity of gaming options for Switch users but also be a significant improvement to Roblox's already well-established community. Nintendo Switch users, much like myself, are missing out on this wonderful gaming experience. It is high time to bridge this gap and extend the reach of Roblox to the thriving Nintendo Switch user-base.
