In the wake of the revolution Greta Thunberg has inspired, it is time for the tricities to take action and allow backyard chickens. Backyard chickens help our environment in many ways. They reduce the significant environmental impact caused by factory farming, provide waste free food for families with their eggs, process household food waste as their food source, provide organic fertilizer and many other environmental benefits. Time to get with the program and allow people in the tri city area to reduce their carbon footprint by allowing backyard chickens in residential homes.
