The First Amendment protects the right of free speech to all Americans regardless of their religious, cultural, or political views. Pro-abortion groups are pressuring Allegheny County to remove pro-life pregnancy service ads from Port Authority buses. As decided by the U.S. Supreme Court in Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. v Public Service Commission of NY, commercial ads fall under the protection of the first amendment.

Birthright of Pittsburgh is a nonpolitical, interdenominational organization that provides assistance to pregnant women without regard to race, age, religion, or income.The essence of Birthright is love and compassionate support to women faced with difficult decisions regarding the life of their unborn baby. All services are free and kept strictly confidential.
