Pope Leo XIV: Visit Gaza and Demand Immediate End to Genocide, Siege, and Starvation
The Issue
We, the undersigned, call on Pope Leo XIV to use his moral authority to urgently confront the ongoing catastrophe in Gaza. We urge you to visit Gaza and publicly and clearly demand an immediate end to genocide, the siege, and starvation, and to advocate for conditions that allow safe humanitarian access, protection of civilians, and delivery of essential aid.
For too long, civilians—especially children, families, and the elderly—have suffered under relentless violence and systematic deprivation. The world has seen devastation at a scale that demands leadership, not silence. A papal visit would send a powerful message that the suffering of innocent people must not be ignored, and that faith communities must stand for human dignity and the protection of life.
We ask Pope Leo XIV to:
Schedule and carry out a pastoral visit to Gaza as soon as safely possible.
Call for an immediate end to genocide, siege conditions, and starvation affecting civilians in Gaza.
Advocate for full, safe, and sustained humanitarian access for food, medication, water, medical personnel, and other essential supplies.
Urge the protection of civilians and end attacks that endanger innocent people, including children.
Use international influence to press for immediate steps that prioritize human-life and allow aid to reach those in need without obstruction.
This petition is an appeal for moral clarity, urgent humanitarian action, and accountability. We believe the Pope’s voice can help shift public attention toward immediate relief and the protection of civilians—because silence in the face of mass suffering is not an option.
We respectfully demand that Pope Leo XIV respond to this crisis with direct presence, public leadership, and concrete advocacy for an end to genocide, siege, and starvation in Gaza.
Thank you for your support, every sign is a step forward towards real progress and peace.
