Let local artists and entrepreneurs use empty shops in Brighton

Brighton & Hove is full of artists and young entrepreneurs but with the barrier of the high rent prices it is impossible to use the centre of town to engage in their projects or buy their products.
Empty shops are scattered around town, some have been empty for 8+ years now and if the local creative community can use the shop spaces at a reduced rate it will bring up the amount of opportunities for creatives and entrepreneurs in Brighton benefiting both the local community and tourism.
We are trying to get enough people behind us that supports this idea to bring our findings to the council at the end of the month at the cultural strategy meeting. If you support the idea please sign, if you have experience in this good or bad please explain in the comments so we can build up a big case for space.
