Poole Marks & Spencer's planned closure for January 2022 will have a damaging affect on the Dolphin Shopping Centre and the Poole community in general. Residents and visitors to Poole, shop there because Castlepoint is just too far out of town. It creates unemployment worries for the excellent staff that are employed there. The fantastic food in the food hall and the amazing clothes and homeware sold throughout the store will no longer be available.The Cafe is a meeting point for many people. These will all be greatly missed. Not everyone is able or inclined to do internet shopping. This store should not close and we urge those who have made this decision to reconsider for the benefit of all.
