Ponda is located at the center of Goa and was very rich in terms of culture, education, art, dignity, cleanliness, greenery and harmony. However there is degradation of these values due to various reasons.

Aami Fondekar's vision is to bring back those Glorious days of yester years and make Ponda an ideal city of Goa.

This is an online campaign where we need your support to make PONDA a better place. Please sign this petition. We are also carrying out an offline Signature campaign which will be further submitted to the PMC.

1.  BAN on Plastic Bags below 40 microns
2. BAN on Stray Cattle and Dogs in the city
3. FREE Footpath, Proper Parking & Smooth Traffic
4. NO Garbage at Public Places & Treatment of Wet Garbage

We have been in dialogue with Ponda Municipal Council on the above subjects and arranged numerous meetings to discuss on these issues.

We are finding lot of improvements in garbage collection, action taken to decongest Upper Bazaar, providing modified and beautified Dada Vaidhya Chowk. We sincerely congratulate and thank to PMC team.

However it has been noticed that serious action and continuous efforts have not been taken on banning PLASTIC BAGS below 40 microns, eradication of STRAY CATTLE & DOGS, Free FOOTPATH for FONDEKARS and PROPER DESIGNATED PARKINGS for TWO & FOUR WHEELERS causing traffic congestion in CITY areas. All these issues are very much under the control of PONDA MUNICIPALITY.

Therefore, we are carrying out this campaign among citizens of Ponda. This campaign will bring to the notice of PMC, the sentiments of citizens regarding seriousness of these issues.
