My elderly friend Fred could be evicted for feeding his feral friends..he has no children and his wife passed on..the feral cats were there when he moved in and now come and stay on a regular basis..he gets great joy from them and recently the management found out an threatened eviction..they stay under his building when it's very cold. The manager decided to close the opening and seal them in their own tomb alive with babies in there..to much for him to take he released them only to be threatened with eviction..they gave him eviction notice and I helped him stay after paying charges for breaking a board to release them...I called peta and they helped but there needs to be a law to protect people that shouldn't get eviction for trying to help innocent feral cats. We need change, and change begins with the people.
